Felicia Design has been in Thailand for more than 25 years. We have worked continuously, through government changes, economic problems, political unrest, floods and more. Thailand is an ever changing landscape, however one things always remains true, Thailand is a resourceful country with hands-on people who stick together and work to achieve. This is why most of our staff have grown with us for years.

Throughout the years, organizations have been formed to further help business and investment in Thailand.
 


EABC

The European Association for Business and Commerce (EABC) is a European Trade Organization which supports European companies wanting to trade and invest in Thailand.



EABC SMEs Working Group

The EABC has a “SMEs Working Group” that supports European SMEs.

This Working Group provides support, advice and advocacy to small & medium enterprises of any industry, from the very beginning of their operations (or before), and during any obstacles they might be facing due to difficult rules & regulations that prevent them from being successful in Thailand.


ASEAN

ASEAN stands for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. ASEAN was established in 1967 by Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Currently ASEAN has 11 member nations: Brunei, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

ASEAN’s objective is to promote economic growth, social progress, cultural development, peace and stability, collaboration and mutual assistance. It also assists the development of shared values for quality and industry regulations. 

 


TNCC

Vibeke was the first female President of the Thai Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (TNCC), and is still very much involved, currently serving as Vice President. The TNCC can assist you to set up and access Southeast Asian markets, to understand the culture, to support your investments efforts. 

 


BOI Thailand

The Thailand Board of Investment is the investment and promotion agency for Thailand that assists foreign investors in identifying opportunities, and by providing tax incentives and privileges for foreign companies seeking to expand into Thailand and the region. Operating under the Ministry of Industry, BOI is the most important government agency supporting international business in Thailand.

 


Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand

The Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand (JFCCT) is the umbrella body for many Thai - Foreign chambers of commerce and business associations operating in Thailand. There are 33 chambers and business associations representing more than 9,000 companies in this wide membership. The mission of the JFCCT is to promote trade and foreign investment, encourage skills development and technology transfer, with the overall aim to contributing to the Thai economy.

Vibeke is currently Vice President of the JFCCT.


Board of Trade of Thailand 

Part of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, The Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT) is created and organized to

  1. Build and share knowledge to all sectors of the business system (Knowledge Sharing)

  2. Develop skills and competitiveness of enterprises in all sectors, especially in SME (Competency Enhancement)

  3. Develop networks and partnerships with public and private sectors in both regional and global business development (Connectivity and Collaboration)

  4. Enhance good governance and accountability in the implementation of sustainable business practices (Good Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility)

  5. Develop efficient organizations and good images for society (Organization Development)
